On April 17th, a momentous event unfolded at ACCE High School as Daimon Spriggs and Darius Reeder made history by becoming the first athletic recruits to graduate from the school. The occasion was marked by ACCE’s inaugural athletic signing day, where both athletes signed their national letters of intent in a heartfelt ceremony attended by peers, teachers, administrators, and coaches.
Coach Lantz Carter shared his experiences coaching Daimon and Darius. He reflected on their incredible journeys, from budding talents to committed athletes, highlighting the hard work and perseverance that defined their recruiting processes. Coach Carter's tribute was a moving testament to the dedication these young men have shown both on and off the field.
Following Coach Carter’s speech, the mothers of Daimon and Darius took the stage to address the senior class. Their words were filled with pride and gratitude, underscoring the significant support and encouragement that have been integral to their sons' successes. Their speeches were a poignant reminder of the strong community that has rallied behind these athletes.
