Penn Play Day 2024

On election day, Harlem Lacrosse hosted their 2nd Annual Penn Play Day at the University of Pennsylvania.  Sponsored by Philadelphia-based private equity firm LLR and hosted by the University of Pennsylvania’s Men’s Lacrosse Team, Penn Play Day is a Harlem LAcrosse National event that brings together regional teams to build community and compete in competitive play.

On a beautiful, November day middle school teams and coaches from HL-Baltimore, HL-New York and HL-Philly gathered at Penn Park to compete in a series of 7v7 games refereed by Penn’s men's and women's lacrosse teams. Our high school teams and coaches played 11v11 at the storied Franklin Field, where our Olney Boys won their championship game. LLR provided snacks, drinks and lunch while our Programs Team in partnership with Coach Mike Murphy and Mike Abbott worked to ensure that our tournament ran smoothly.  We are incredibly grateful for our partners, our National Programs Team and regional Programs Team participants for participating in such a phenomenal event.
