Harlem Lacrosse Hosts Annual Spring Exchange
For the fifth consecutive year, eighth graders from Concord-Carlisle youth lacrosse visited Harlem Lacrosse and Frederick Douglass Academy site for the annual Spring Exchange.
It was a reunion as all the CC players and coaches annually host FDA student-athletes as part of the Harlem Lacrosse homestay program. The CC players got a glimpse into an FDA student’s day as they attended class and suited up for an afternoon handball court practice. Afterwards, CC players and their FDA teammates had dinner at Harlem Shake. The teams boarded the bus again early Saturday morning for games against two Rye, NY youth teams. CC and FDA combined teams and played excellent lacrosse.
We are lucky to continue this wonderful exchange program focused on lacrosse and friendship. Thank you to lead organizers Dan Bowen and Kristen Johnson as well as the entire Concord-Carlisle Youth Lacrosse community for continuing to support our program and student-athletes.
